BUSHFIRES: The SES doesn't fight fires But provides assistance in the Transportation of essential products to the fireground. The SES also provides assistance in the CFA stagging areas.

VICTORIA POLICE : SES also provides assistance to the Victoria Police in the search for evidence (crime scenes) and also lighting for the safety of Police, SES and that of the general public.

BLUE LIGHT DISCO'S: The Brimbank unit also provides it's members and equipment in the running of the local Blue light disco run by the Victoria police (Blue light commitee) held at Keilor downs secondary college every 4 months.

EMERGENCY MANAGMENT : The SES provides valuabe information and assistance tolocalcouncils in the contruction and auditing of it's Municipal EmergencyManagment Plans (MEMP).

      SES volunteers are also involved with the multi agency approach to URBAN SEARCH AND RESCUE This Role is also shared with MFB and CFA, Thi role covers both Catagory 1 and 2 Trained personal.
